Early Sunday morning Sem took the plane from Marseille to Paris and had a connection from Paris to Bucharest. Sempai Michael Knaap and Shihan Dave Jonkers already arrived at Saturday from Amsterdam and Michael did the MMA morning seminar which was attended by 70 participants and Michael showed several techniques with Sankaku and following combinations. The invitation for tyhis seminar was done by Ion Garbea Branchief Romania , Biko style leader Leonardo Voinescu and Romanian Kickboxing Champion Cipran Sora.
In March our Dojo was visited by some Romanian MMA/ K1 fighters who trained with our team for one week.

On Sunday everybody was waiting for Sem who was landed at 2.20 p.m. and directly interviewed on the airport by some tv networks and so he couldn’t be in time. Meanwhile Shihan Dave Jonkers was taking care for the K1 seminar during the afternoon, doing extended combinations.

Around 04.00 p.m. Sem arrived and the participants where greedy to make photographs with the three times K1champ. This session took about 20 minutes and the next event was already planned: a live television talk show from 05.00-06.00 p.m. on national T.V. RealitaTV Romania.

In this show some demonstrations from Romanian youngsters in Budostyle where demonstrated and in-between the interviews Sem demonstrated several favorite techniques. The program had a big rate of 20% viewers.

Next day was relaxing, we drove to the Carpates and arrived after a perfect lunch in a beautiful mountain area with a view from the hotel balcony on snowy mountains. In the evening we had again a enormous dinner on the countryside, lot of meat and characteristic Romanian food. Around midnight it was time to look in what of condition the hotel bed was.

Next morning after breakfast it was a day of sightseeing. We started with visiting the snowy mountain in front of our hotel. With a trip by ski lift of 15 minutes, we had a lovely view over the town of Brasov, walked a little bit around through snowy parts. We where very lucky with a sunny day and after 1 hour wandering around again a great lunch.

Next thing was driving up to Draculacastle in the city of Bran. where the well-known vampire story took place and which has his history in 15th century. Guided around we found out everything about Dracula, Queen Maria who lived on the castle in the beginning of 1900 and the fact that the castle was for sale: only 140 mln. Euro. In the evening we had again a great diner, went to our hotel and next morning we drove up to the airport, to catch our return flight.

A pleasant couple of days with a great hospitality from our Romanian hosts and it will sure happen again because we had negotiations of starting a Golden Glory Dojo in the capital city Bucharest. There is a lot of potential and cooperation with our Dojo makes it for both parts interesting.
